Every brokerage produces a steady stream of marketing: postcards, social posts, listing flyers, business cards. The harder question has always been what happens after a design is made. Was it downloaded? Shared? Sent to print? With the new Design Analytics in MAXA, real estate marketing analytics finally reflect the actions your team takes, not just what the system generates.
Design Analytics is part of our Analytics Overhaul, and it’s built around a simple principle: creation and usage are measured separately, so generating a design isn’t mistaken for using it. Usage reflects the moments your team takes action on its content, by downloading, sharing, or printing it.
The numbers that matter, at a glance
The top of Design Analytics gives you five figures that together describe your team’s marketing activity. Design Usage adds up downloads, completed shares, and print submissions during your selected period. Designs Created tracks every design created over that same window, including ones generated automatically. Master Templates shows the size of the library your team works from, Average Designs per User shows how many designs each active creator made on average, and Active Creators shows how many users created at least one design.
Creation and usage tell different stories. If an agent creates one design and downloads it twice, that counts as one design created and two usage actions. Usage during your selected period can also include designs created earlier. High creation with lower usage can highlight an opportunity to review adoption, timing, or template relevance. Each card includes a short description of what it counts, so everyone reads the numbers the same way.
Trends over time
The Design Usage Over Time chart breaks activity down by downloads, shares, and prints across your selected period. You can see when your team is most active and how usage shifts after a new template launch or a seasonal push. Print figures count designs submitted through completed checkout and depend on your account’s print integration.
Know which templates earn their place
The Template Usage table ranks your templates by recorded usage, so you can quickly spot your strongest performers and the templates with little recorded usage. Keep the winners front and center, refresh the ones that have gone quiet, and build your next templates based on evidence rather than assumptions. Table data exports as CSV, and PDF reports make it easy to share results in leadership reviews.
Time saved, made visible
On the Analytics Overview, Design Hours Saved puts a figure on something brokerages have always felt but rarely measured. It’s an estimate based on 30 minutes per newly created page, so ten new pages represent five estimated hours saved. It helps illustrate the value of template-based design without claiming to measure each agent’s actual working time.
The Overview also highlights your Top Users by design count, your most popular templates, and how design activity splits across categories like social media posts, business cards, and listing materials. That gives you a clear view of who’s driving your marketing activity, so you can recognize your most engaged agents and support the ones who aren’t there yet.
Built to work at any scale
Whether you manage a single office or a network of hundreds of agents, Design Analytics gives you brokerage marketing analytics built on the same consistent filters found across Analytics. Platform Admins and Global Admins can narrow Analytics by period, user role, user, user group, or office, with applicable views reflecting the same selected scope as you move between tabs. Marketing teams can review company-wide activity or focus on a single office, all working from the same definitions.
Insights you can act on
The goal of Design Analytics isn’t more data. It’s better decisions. Knowing which templates get used, which agents are most active, and where activity is growing helps you refine your library, guide your agents, and show how your team adopts and uses your marketing resources.
Platform admins: open Analytics, select Designs, and explore your team’s creation and usage activity. Contact your MAXA team if Analytics isn’t available on your account.
